Happy Administrative Professionals’ Day! Fresno Christian staff and students show appreciation for the high school and junior high office manager, Michelle Logan, April. 21.
Staff and students wrote handwritten, positive messages which were place in a giant coffee mug. Flowers and chocolate covered strawberries along with other goodies were presented to Logan. As well as a hand delivered life-size tardy slip specially designed for the office secretary.
Logan has been the office secretary since 2017. Logan was offered a full time job in the high school and junior high office shortly after her two daughters, Ashley Logan, ’22 and Lindsay Logan, ’23, attended Fresno Christian. She was previously a hairstylist, lawyer and a college instructor. For more information about Logan, read Michelle Logan: Voice behind the intercom
The appreciative actions were organized by 9th and 11th grade English teacher, Melanie Portwood.
“Yes, it was my idea to do a group celebration”, Portwood said. “This has been a difficult year, and Michelle Logan is the face and voice of the high school. I felt that she deserved an extra special day for everything that she does. She has been my biggest supporter and no matter what I ask or need, she makes sure I get what I need with a smile. Michelle Logan makes everyday better!”
Portwood shares ways students and staff can show appreciation towards Logan on a daily basis.
“Ask for things politely, say thank you and quality compliments are always a good idea”, Portwood said. “Smiles are great too!”
Thank you Michelle Logan for all that you do! Feel free to stop by the high school and junior high office to say hi to Michelle Logan.
