Fresno Christian high school students head to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo for the 28th annual FC Sadies, April 24. A total of 120 students and 12 chaperones attended the event. In previous year, FC students have traveled to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Great America, and Six Flags Magic Mountain.
The overall title of the event was ‘The Happiest Sadies On Earth‘ and this year’s theme was ‘Disney‘. Some popular costumes included the Incredibles, Lilo and Stitch, Winnie-the-Pooh and friends, Simba and Nala, Mike and Sully and many more.
The leadership team organizes Sadies and the details such as location, ticket prices and theme. Typically Sadies is held in the fall, but not this year! Due to COVID-19, the 2020 spring formal was cancelled. Once students returned on campus for the 2020-21 school year, there was hope for pulling off a fall formal.
