This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week! With so many teachers at Fresno Christian who take the time to shape student’s lives, we want to recognize and show gratitude for all they do.
Many students overlook the effort and knowledge that teachers pour into their educational lives every day. This week gives the opportunity to admire these qualities in our teachers.
Fresno Christian students celebrate their teachers by writing words of encouragement, giving little gifts, and simply thanking teachers throughout the week.
This year’s leadership team wrote individual letters to their teachers expressing how they have impacted their academic or personal lives. Freshmen leadership student McKenzie Sue shares why she appreciates her teachers.
“My favorite subject is English,” Sue said. “Mrs. (Melanie) Portwood has helped to make English my favorite subject by always explaining any questions I have and making it a pleasant environment for the class.”
To show your appreciation, consider buy your teacher a coffee, write a letter, or give flowers. Thank you to all the teachers out there!
