Middle and high school choir performed during the annual Fall Choir Concert at Redemption Bible Church, Oct. 18. The three group choral department, chamber choir, concert choir and middle school choir are directed by Susan Ainley and accompanist Karey Nickel.
Songs presented include ‘Skye Boat Song’, ‘Dominus Vobiscum’, and ‘In Meeting We Are Blessed.’
Andrew Scully, ’23, has been apart of choir every since sixth grade. The junior came to Fresno Christian his eighth grade year and decided to join the class for his passion of music.
“I decided to do choir because I have always loved music and singing is really fun,” Scully said. “My favorite memory of choir was going to Disneyland in eighth grade, it’s the only time I’ve ever been so it was pretty special. For those interested in choir, I would say just try it out, even if you have zero experience singing, it’s still a very fun experience and you can become a better singer in the process. I’m most looking forward to singing with my friends and having fun, while learning really some really awesome music.”
