The class of 2022 travels to Hume Lake Christian Camps where they spend 32 hours together for the annual senior retreat, Nov. 7-8.
A total of 47 out of 51 students attend the retreat. After getting postponed twice due to fires, the seniors partake in a series of group activities to grow with their classmates.
Senior advisers Kori James, Robert Foshee, Mick Fuller and Kimberly Bell scatter seniors in six different teams to connect the students together. Groups are tasked with creating a team name, chant, skit and participate in other activities to earn points for a final prize.
Activities consist of dodgeball, archery, axe throwing, rowing around the lake, skits, chapel, victory circle, the ‘Great Race’.
Athletic director Jon Penberthy was the speaker during both chapels sharing his testimony and how God provides when we are faithful.
At the end of the year, seniors can look forward to the annual senior trip and grad-night.
Special thanks to Hume for hosting the class of 2022!
