Fresno Christian Schools teams up with Samaritan’s Purse for the annual Operation Christmas Child box collecting, Nov. 17. Each year, FCS students K-12 personally package OCC boxes that are sent to less fortunate children across the world for Christmas. The 2021 FC school wide total is 604 boxes!
A project started by Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child was established in 1990 with the purpose of impacting children from around the globe who have been affected by poverty, disease, war and natural disaster.
One FC family, Macey and Elise Reedy, donated 169 OCC boxes. Every year, the Reedy family asks friends and family to help donate and collect items for these boxes. Starting with 55 boxes in 2015 to 120 boxes last year, the Reedy’s challenge themselves and others to beat their goal.
OCC collects donations all year round, so you can still help contribute if led to. Special thank you to everyone who donated!
