The Fresno Christian choral department presents “Traditions” Christmas music we love to sing, Dec. 6. Director Susan Ainley accompanied by Karey Nickel conducts the middle school, Concert and Chamber Choir in the Redemption Bible church auditorium for family and friends.
Selecting iconic songs that represent Christmas to choir students, the choral group performs “O Come, All Ye Faithful”, “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Joy to the World.” Solos included Sarah Upshaw, ’23, and Caleb Schreur, ’27 as well as percussion from Max Morgan, ’23 and Jordyn DeGroot, ’26, guitar by Tyler Maxey, ’25, violin by Nyanza Williams, ’22, and a piano duet with David Tuck, ’22 and Karey Nickel.

- “My Live is Always Here” – Chamber Choir
In between carols, Bible teacher and vice principal, Scott Falk reads out of Isaiah, Matthew and Luke to share the story of Jesus’ Birth. To end the concert, all three choir groups gather around the audience singing “All on a Silent Night.”
