Dressed as dynamic duos, 128 students head to Magic Mountain Six Flags for the annual Sadies Adventure for a day of rides, food and fun, March 5. Tickets included the bus ride, roller coasters, endless park drinks and a meal, all for a whopping price of $90.
In past years, high school students have traveled to Santa Cruz and Great America, but last year, due to COVID-19, students participated in a local Sadies day at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.
Natalie Johnson, ’22, was excited to leave Fresno for Sadies after staying local last year.
“I was most certainly thrilled to have been given the opportunity to go to a Sadies that wasn’t local!” Johnson said. “I think that Sadies at FCS is special compared to public schools because we travel to places, such as Six Flags, which adds to the fun and memories.”
Freshman Zoe Blanchfield loves Six Flags and would like to go back for upcoming Sadies.
“I loved spending time with my friends and creating better bonds with them,” Blanchfield said. “The experience was so amazing and I had so much fun.”
Thank you to Aubri Foster and the leadership team for organizing a memorable 2022 Sadies.
