There has been story after story about Greg Stobbe’s crazy antics as an educator, known as Stobbe’s shenanigans. From standing on tables, random loud outbursts, and editing methods that may make students hesitate over their potential. No matters methods, his passion for teaching is undeniable. You will never know what to expect next from Stobbe.
After a series of tragic events in his life over the past two years, Stobbe was unexpectedly unable to finish his 30th year of teaching. His presence on campus is missed, especially in the journalism lab.
Over 100 guests, consisting of family, friends, and 25 years worth of ex-Feather students, gathered to honor and award Stobbe with the CSPA Charles R O’Malley award for excellence in teaching, April 29.
During the celebration, this video was presented along with many others sharing stories and appreciation by former Feather students and industry professionals who could not attend.
Congratulations to Stobbe for this honorable award and 29 successful years of inspiring and teaching hundreds of students!
