As the school year wraps up and spring sports head into playoffs, baseball honors Casey Laxriox, Bradley Cheney, Braden Walters, Henry Baker and Jon Herren for senior night, May 13.
The team defeats Summit Charter, 16-0 in the third inning after recognizing these seniors on the mound. Eagles are currently 18-8 overall and first in the East Sierra League.
With these accomplishments his senior year, Cheney reflects back on his three years of playing baseball at FC.
“My favorite memories are hanging out with my teammates,” Cheney said. “I hope the younger classmen remember to work hard, but also have fun.”
Cheney would like to thank God for giving him the ability to play, as well as his brother for fixing his swing.
