I had little expectations for the third installment of the Shrek trilogy; in my opinion good movies should be left as they are. Shrek the Third failed to change my mind.
The story begins with the ogre hero, Shrek (Mike Myers) filling in as King for his ailing father-in-law, in the land of Far Far Away. All Shrek wants, however, is to return to the comfort of his ?vermin filled swamp? to live in peace with his princess-transformed-ogre wife, Fiona (Cameron Diaz).
But when the Frog King passes away in an overly dramatic and drawn out scene, Shrek sets out on a quest to escape his duty as heir to the thrown by searching out the second in line, Arthur Pendragon (Justin Timberlake).
Unfortunately, finding Arthur is not Shrek?s only problem. Princess Fiona just broke the news that he will soon be a father. The story line then falls into the clich
