It’s that time of year again! At the Fresno County Blossom Trail, various types of blossoms begin to bloom, covering the trail with pink and white flowers and filling the air with the fragrance of spring, Feb.15.
Did you know that the Blossom Trail is 62 miles long and grows over 100 types of peaches?
Here is a list of some of the blossoms you can see along the trail:
-Almond
-Plum
-Peach
-Nectarine
-Apple
-Citrus
-Apricot
-Lemon
-Orange
You can navigate around the eastern Fresno County Orchards by visiting the Blossom trail map.
This local attraction provides meals at its very own Blossom Trail Cafe for friends and family to enjoy after the trail. The traditional American-Italian cafe is open all week from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. and serves a multitude of breakfast and lunch items, including omelets, pancakes, waffles, burritos, burgers and more.
When looking for a beautiful spot to take senior photos, family pictures or practice landscape photography, consider The Fresno County Blossom Trail. The ideal time to visit is mid-February through mid-March, depending on the year and weather conditions, to capture the trail in full bloom.
