Mic’d Up episodes hosted by Ian Palsgaard and Owen Gainer is a high energy, rapid fire interview series featuring the students of Fresno Christian and the community. This is Mic’d Up No. 2 filmed at the 9/11 memorial on Sept. 11, 2023.

Ian Palsgaard and Owen Gainer interview Fire Fighters, Policemen, and even Fresno’s own Mayor Jerry Dyer. In this ecstatic Mic’d Up questions such as “Why Do you think it’s important for student to remember 9/11?’, ‘What does 9/11 mean to you?”,and “What are your connections with the 9/11 event?” are asked.

In this Mic’d Up Owen Gainer engages the Mayor by his first name. Though accidentally, this is the style that Mic’d Up strives to be both personable and down to earth while relaying fun and important information. Though in this episode Ian and Owen make a more serious take on this Mic’d Up. This 9/11 the men had the opportunity to learn and share information from this tragic event whilst interviewing first hand sources. This Mic’d Up it’s important for students to be informed and remember the tragedy of 9/11 and how our country came together at one of its darkest times.
