Lights! Camera! Homecoming! Meet your cadidates for the 38th Annual Fresno Christian Homecoming. Voted in by their peers, Gabby Hutcheson, Mckenzie Sue, Chloe McDonald, Paige Deffenbacher and Sophia Adams are this years senior queen candinates. We asked a series of questions to get to know them better. The big event will happen Friday, Oct. 27. Princesses introduced at 5:30 p.m. before kickoff at 6. The Royal Pageant will happen during half time to crown this year’s winners. See you there!
Gabby Hutcheson:
Hutcheson has attended Fresno Christian since 7th grade. Three words to describe her are short, shorter and shortest. Hutcheson’s favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
1. If you could have one high school do over, what would it be?
To not fall at the basketball game and hit my head in front of everyone.
2. What is the most important quality in a mate?

Mckenzie Sue:
Sue has attended Fresno Christian since kindergarten. Her Hollywood crush is Lewis Partridge. Sue’s favorite bible verse is Romans 8: 38-39, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Chloe McDonald:
McDonald has attended Fresno Christian since 11th grade. If she could have one high school do over it would be to come sooner because she loves this school. McDonald’s favorite bible verse is 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in pursuit.”
1. Favorite FC memory?
The day they announced the homecoming court, it surprised me with joy and made me smile. Also, Friday night football with friends.
2. If you could eat at only one fast food restaurant for life.. where?
A smoothie shop like Jamba Juice or Nektar. Contrary to the belief, I would not choose McDonald’s everyday.
3. What is your favorite decade?

Paige Deffenbacher:
Deffenbacher has attended Fresno Christian since 2nd grade. Three words to describe her are energetic, genuine and funny. Deffenbacher’s favorite bible verse is 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in pursuit.”

Sophia Adams:
Adams has attended Fresno Christian since freshman year. Three words to describe her are bubbly, passionate and determined. Adams’ favorite bible verse is Matthew 6:34, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.”
1. If you could have one high school do over, what would it be?
I would sign up for drama my freshman, sophomore and junior year.

3. Where would you like to be in 5 years?
Starring on broadway/west end theatre in London and falling in love.
