Fresno Christian athletes continue season after season of impressive achievements, valley championships, state rankings and local buzz. The Go Eagles Podcast brings you a collection of stories and insights into the world of FC Athletics. This is Episode No. 3.
This “Go Eagles Podcast” episode features alumnus Tyler Villines, a graduate of Grand Canyon University who currently works with the Peoples Church Student Ministry. The episode explores how Villines adeptly balanced academics and athletics as a student-athlete. He shares insights into the significance of high school sports in his life and his experiences as a multi-sport athlete.
Focusing in depth on his time as a quarterback, Villines fondly recalls his guidance and teaching under Coach Fuller. Throughout the episode, Villines addresses current student-athletes, offering them advice and reassurance as they juggle their demanding schedules. Tune in to hear Villines speak candidly (and humorously) about managing life’s challenges, particularly the stress of maintaining A+’s and excelling on the sports field!
Fun Fact: Villines acting debut was for a Fresno Christian marketing campaign as the representation of a well rounded student.
