Fresno Christian boys volleyball secured a victory in the first round of playoffs against Torres High School May 1, winning 3-0. This brings the current total record for boys’ volleyball to 29 wins and 12 losses, ranking them 11th in the league.
With high hopes for a championship ring this year, the team advances to round two of playoffs, facing Madera South High School at home on May 3.
First year varsity player Austin Kinzel, ’26 joined the team after basketball season unsure of what he was in for.
“The best part about being on this team is the relationship built,” Kinzel said. “My hope is that we will stick together as a team and be able to go all the way to the championship.”
