The 2024 Royal Battle shows off the king and queen nominees lip-syncing skills and dance moves to popular songs from the game “Just Dance,” Oct. 10.
Milly Morgan and Braxton Bay display their moves with flips and Olympic break dancing to the song “24k Magic” by Bruno Mars.
Julia Castiglione and Aden Millwee feel the beat in their dance routine to “Umbrella” by Rihanna with a special effect pouring glitter from their umbrellas.
Rynna Silva and Caleb Iest strut their stuff to the popular “Timber” song by Pitbull with similar moves to the dance in “Just Dance.”
Lyla Hinton and Theron Myers move in sync to “Footloose” by Kenny Loggin with a jacket throw and even a flip.
Mallory Friesen and Ian Palsgaard show off their chemistry in the timeless song “(I’ve had) The Time of My Life” from the movie Dirty Dancing, including the famous lift dance move.
Each couple was judged on their Lip sync, Musicality/Dance, Creativeness, and Audience Enthusiasm.
For the grand finale, all five couples joined forces to “Scream and Shout.” Then all five girls danced to the the Dallas Cowgirls routine to the song “Thunderstruck” by ACDC followed by the five boys who twirled in tutus to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce. The closing note was a big dip by each of the couples to the delight of the crowd.
