Wrapping up the homecoming season, Fresno Christian community gathers for the 39th Annual Homecoming night festivities, Oct. 11.
Before the game, class princess candidates rode in on Broncos, waving to the crowd while their speeches were played over the sound system.
Central Valley veteran Vern Schmidt, 98, from Central Valley Honor Flight flipped the coin to start the game. Fresno Christian defeated Sierra High School, 49-8.
At half time, each senior king candidate was introduced with their mom. Wearing sparkling gowns, senior queen candidates rode in on Broncos and paraded down the carpet with their escorts.

Each class also created floats around the theme “Family Game Night.” The seniors use their woodworking skills to show off the Super Mario Brothers game. The Junior Class sold cotton candy, which was a hit, and magnified their Candyland theme. With a smaller float, the sophomores took a different approach by creating two walls and balloon pillars that led viewers to their float with a mystery Clue theme. Showing the three walls of the Monopoly board, the freshmen displayed the jail and pass go space.
