In Fresno, many families enjoy going to pumpkin patches to buy the perfect pumpkin to carve. It is a fun fall activity for both locals and visitors. The following are some of the available locations to shop for pumpkins.
Planet Pumpkin
The Planet Pumpkin patch is located at 720 E Nees Ave. It opens daily from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and the last day to visit is Oct. 31. Along with a variety of pumpkins, the patch offers food options and carnival rides for families to enjoy. Parking at the pumpkin patch is free with no admission fee.
Simonian Farm
Located at 2629 S. Clovis Ave, the Simonian Farm holds its annual pumpkin patch. The patch is open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This patch provides pre-selected picked pumpkins on sale for customers. Families are offered a free fall-themed picture, and kids can ride on the haunted wagon.
Sunshine’s Farm
The Sunshine’s Farm pumpkin patch offers a variety of activities for families in addition to picking pumpkins. Visitors can walk through the sunflower field, enjoy delicious food, purchase refreshing drinks and more. Sunshine’s Farm is located at 284 S. Temperance Ave and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wild Patch Pumpkins
Wild Patch Pumpking opens from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s located at 225 W. Bullard in Clovis. Thursday will be the last day to visit the Wild Patch Pumpkin. The pumpkins are grown by local farmers within the community. The patch is family owned and operated. There are more than 30 different varieties of pumpkins available and it offers a small corn maze for children.
