Fresno Christian Girl’s Varsity Volleyball defeats Summit Shasta 3-2 in the second round of CIF State playoffs, Nov. 14.
After sweeping league play with a pristine 9-0 record, which secured them the title of league champions, the Eagles advanced to the valley playoffs. The girls went head-to-head with the Immanuel Eagles and defeated them 3-0, crowned as CIF Division 4 Valley Champions, their season persisted to state playoffs. Their victory in the first round against Rancho Cotate brought them to play Summit Shasta.
The game went to five sets ending in 3-2.
