Fresno Christian’s band performs their annual Christmas Concert at Redemption Bible Church, Dec. 5.
Lindsay Clarno, the band director, leads the jazz ensemble, Eagle Band, and FC Band. Throughout the night, all of the bands perform different pieces of Christmas music.
The Jazz Ensemble starts the night off with “Caribbean Christmas.” After Chara Jacobs, ‘27, and Bella Hess, ‘26, play “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” as a duet. Songs they performed include, “Jingle Bell Rock,” You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch,” “We Three Sing” and more.
Following this, Eagle Band performs 13 songs, including “Jingle Bell,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.” Soloist Weston Lassen, plays the flute to perform “Little Drummer Boy” for the audience.
Following the solo performance, audience members participate in an auction to conduct the band. FCS family, the Fugates, win and their son, Lucas Fugate, got the chance to lead the band.
The FC Band continues by playing “Christmas Angels on the March,” leading to the final song of the concert, “Silent Night.” During the last performance, the audience candles to hold while the band played.
