Fresno Christian Girls Volleyball clinch the DIV Valley Championship title against Immanuel with a final score of 3-0. Nov, 7.
This year’s victory marks the third consecutive win for the Eagles over the past three years. This year the team ends with an overall record of 37 wins and 14 loses, with a league record of 9-0. After a resounding victory against the Immanuel Eagles the Fresno Christian CIF central section champs move on to the first round of state playoffs. this match will be played at home Nov, 14 against Summit Shasta.
Three year varsity player Sarah Guglielmana ‘26 shares her feelings on the victory.
“It felt unreal but satisfying knowing that all the hard work we had put in this season and playing over 50 games had got us to that point to win for God’s glory,” Guglielmana said.
Krista Brady ‘25, felt the severity of their victory as it reflected the time, sweat and tears poured into her four season at Fresno Christian.
“I was overwhelmed with joy,” Brady said. “I was so proud of my team, we worked so hard and it’s amazing to see it pay off. It was a tough game but it was so encouraging to know that we had each other’s backs and that there were so many people rooting for us. This team was truly so special and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
