The Fresno Christian Varsity Girls’ Soccer team wins the 2024-2025 CIF Central Section Division IV Valley Championships. The girls played a passionate game against Porterville High School. They scored four goals in the first half and two in the second, securing the win.
The following players made the goals:
- Kennedy Wyatt, ‘25.
- Abigail Herren, ‘25.
- Kennedy Schwab, ‘26.
- Meghan Connolly, ‘26.
Throughout the night, friends and family supported and cheered on the team. Following their victory, players were congratulated and they celebrated their well-earned win. CIF gave the team a plaque and each player received a patch and hat.
In previous years the girls’ soccer team has won the Division V Championships, but this is the first year they have won the Division IV Championships.
The team played intense games throughout the Championship Playoffs and will now advance to the first round of State Playoffs. This team has been declared the No. 1 seed in the 2025 CIF NorCal Girls Soccer Championship. They will play a home game against Liberty Ranch High School, the No. 8 seed, on March 4 at 3 P.M. Come out and show your support for the team!
