WEEKLY CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MARCH 9 – MARCH 14

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to our choirs and band! JH and HS choirs won the silver award and HS jazz band and ladies ensemble won the gold award. Ladies ensemble was also given an invitation to the Heritage Festival at Carnegie Hall during the 2016 festival season. We were also given the Sweepstakes Award for having a high scoring group represented in each category. Senior Andrew Guthrie was nominated by Susan Ainley and Lesley Bannister for the “When You Wish” award for outstanding music performance and contribution to the school community. He also was awarded the Maestro award along with Ivette Ibarra for their solos during the performance.
CAREER FAIR, MARCH 11
The Career Fair is on March 11 following a half day bell schedule. This event is considered part of the normal school day and will end at 3 p.m. Seniors are not allowed to go off campus during lunch on the day of the Career Fair.
FC AUCTION, MARCH 14
The 32nd annual FC Auction will be held March 14 in the FC gym beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please continue donating! There is a competition between grades 7-12 on which class can bring in the most items. Prizes include donuts, longer lunches, and an afternoon off with activities.
NIGHT OF THE STARS, MARCH 28
This year Night of the Stars will be held at Wolf Lakes on March 28 from 5-11 p.m. Tickets are $60. Tickets may be purchased in the HS office or during lunch in the quad. Pictures will begin at 5:30 p.m., order forms are available in the HS office.
CREATIVE WRITING CLUB
If you enjoy writing, the Creative Writing Club meets in room 603 every Monday during lunch. This club is available to JH and HS.
SPORT EVENTS DRESSCODE
All school students must be in dress code at all school sports events, both on campus and at away games. Students who are out of dress code will be asked to change clothes and may be required to leave the event if they are unable to comply.

LUNCH MENU
Lunches may now be selected online. Go to the Fresno Christian website, select Campus News, and scroll down until the lunch menu is visible. Under the menu the option “Submit your lunch request” will appear. You may then select what you want for lunch!
No bills over $20 are accepted.

STUFF MART
Stuff Mart, the student store, is open every day during the 10 minute break. It is located at the south end of the top floor in building six. Snacks and some school supplies are available for a nominal cost.
