The Fresno Christian College Fair is back with over 30 colleges, along with military recruiters, sharing their details with FC High School students. Participants meet in the courtyard and get to know different private and public colleges that may peak their interests. With collegiate opportunities, students are encouraged to discover a stable pathway into adulthood.
Students gather during lunch time to learn more about possibilities for their futures from college representatives, going from booth to booth, gathering insight into what could be a reality for them after high school. As seniors begin the college application process, the college fair is an opportunity for students to find new paths for the next steps of their academic or career-driven lives.
Military recruiters, such as those from the Army and the Fresno Police Department, came to campus for those who wish to serve the country. Students participate in a challenge to overhead an ammo box.
Academic Counselor, Evangelina Escovedo, has hosted eight college fairs and helps students with the latest college information on campus.
“Great questions to ask these reps are: do they have a four-year graduation guarantee, how much is tuition, and what are your top programs?” Escovedo said. “I’m excited to give this opportunity to our students to connect with all these different individuals.”
