With the holidays now in bloom, family and friends gather over tidings of great joy and great food.
Many people trudge through dinner just to get to the sweet dessert at the end of the meal. Why not be the hit of the party and bring a tasty treat?
A maple chewy cookie is perfect for the Christmas season! Since maple is a natural sweetener, these cookies are healthier than those packed with sugar!
To make two dozen of these holiday cookies, get two cups of pecans, one cup of brown of brown sugar, 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla and four egg whites. Also, remember two cookie sheets and wax paper to lay on the sheets as well as a mixing spoon and bowl.
Preheat the oven 350 degrees. Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir until the dough has a thick consistency.
After the dough is mixed, scoop golfball-sized amounts and place on the cookie sheet, about two inches apart. Place the sheet into the oven for around nine minutes.
Once the cookies are a golden brown, let them cool for three minutes. Once the cookies are prepared, get ready to impress friends and family with their sweet, nutty flavor!
