The West Sequoia League Talent Show auditions will be held Feb. 2-3. The competition showcases those who wish to share their talent and unique abilities through song, dance, poetry or other skills.
Tryouts will take place during lunch in Ground Zero. Auditions will be closed to the public. All acts must be under three minutes and preapproved by campus administration.
“I would encorage others to participate in the talent show,” Mitchell Callisch, ’09, said, “because it is a great way to express the talents which lie within the bounds of this school.”
Judges Aaron Bryan and Katie Mendenhall will choose three acts to represent FC in the regional talent show. Bryan also requests teacher faculty to contact him if interested to help judge tryouts.
“The talent show is one of my favorite events which FC puts on,” Julio Ibarra, ’10, said. “Last year I helped set up with leadership and it really gave me an appreciation for the contest.”
Judges request a printed copy of any song lyrics be given to the HS office before auditions. All music/dance moves must be appropriate choices and fit the FC mission statement.
Sign-ups are in front of the high school office and will end Jan. 30. The finals for the talent show are scheduled for the end of February.

I never would have worn those hats if I knew this was going to happen. Oh well, it was pretty fun!
