Dear editor:

Over the past four years The Feather Online has provided a unique experience to people who were not able to attend a sporting event of a Fresno Christian team.

I am blessed by how the campus journalism students have covered girls’ basketball in support of my team and me. Their work takes my name beyond high school.

As a future college athlete, it is hard to communicate to coaches who know little about our small school. But I have spoken to many coaches who have seen me at viewing tourneys or have Googled my name, and they say the top hit of my name is through The Feather Online.

This has provided me the chance to have another perspective on how well I played throughout the season. The coaches have seen game pics to personal profiles to videos on my basketball season.

The Feather supports every athlete and active student in some way throughout their career on campus. This is a great benefit for those of us who attend Fresno Christian.

I personally want to thank every Feather staffer for everything that they have done. They have helped me land college scholarships and a chance to play on a university team.
