UPDATE, Oct. 22: Due to injuries and unexpected circumstances, there will not be a JV game for homecoming. Some JV players have been brought up to play in the varsity game, which will begin at 7:30 p.m.
For homecoming week, Oct. 18-22, student leadership has planned dress-up days and special events prior to the football game against Fowler.
The 26th annual homecoming, the first to be held on campus, will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 22. Tickets are free for FC students, $3 for alumni, $4 for students (with ID) of other schools, $6 for adults and $4 for seniors (65 years of age or more).
The annual traditions of the princess pageants, queen pageant and king dance — where the court nominees compete in stunts for votes — will be held during lunch and rally periods.
In accordance with the holiday theme, the freshmen will portray Veterans Day on their float, the sophomores will represent Independence Day, the juniors will portray New Year’s Eve and the seniors will represent Christmas. Floats will be presented and judged during halftime of the varsity game, Oct. 22.

Tuesday
Theme: “Cinco de Mayo”
Event: Princess Pageant in FC Gym, during chapel
Wednesday
Theme: “Christmas Morning” — pajamas (in dress code)
Event: Float-building after half-day
Thursday
Theme: “Mardi Gras”
Event: Queen Pageant in Ground Zero, during chapel
Friday
Theme: “FC Colors”
Event: King Dance in Ground Zero, during rally (2:15-3)
