This video, produced by sophomore Juan Ruelas, recaps the Eagles’ 52-33 loss to Sierra High School, at home, Jan. 12.
During the game, the teams paid tribute to deceased basketball star and FC alumna Paige Armstrong-Maltos, ’10.
Senior Ashlyn White scored FC’s game high with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Along with her teammate, senior Bridget Teixeira obtained 8 rebounds. Senior Paige Brown scored Sierra’s game high with 10 points.
Within the first quarter the Chieftains led 13-9, and continued to outplay the Eagles by scoring 13 more points in the second quarter.
FC scored 13 points during the third quarter, but Sierra maintained the lead, 37-26. Scoring 15 more points in the final quarter, Sierra closed the game, 52-33.
