To support winter sports, the student leadership class organized a rally in the FCS Gym, Feb. 8.
At the event, emcees Justin Wilson, ’11, and Andrew Evans, ’11, called up the girls’ basketball, girls’ soccer, boys’ basketball and boys’ soccer teams and introduced every player.
In addition, a few members from each team participated in a stunt characteristic to their sport. Following the activity, one member from each team was asked a series of questions about their fellow players.
This video, produced by sophomore Juan Ruelas, provides highlights from the rally.

That was the very first time I dissected a frog, and to do that with some of my closest friends made it really fun! It was a great experience in biology!

I am deathly afraid of frogs. So when I found out that we were going to dissect one in biology sophomore year, I was coincidentally “sick” that morning and missed out on the gruesome task of slicing a frog in half. I do not regret my decision to miss class that day because I know if I had been there, I probably would have passed out.

The experiment was really fun. It was also really funny seeing Noah and Martin grossed out while they were cutting out all the organs and the tongue.
