As every class prepares for the 2011 homecoming, which is scheduled to take place Oct. 14, the juniors take their float building to Juan Ruelas’s house. With the theme of board games, the class of 2013 works to create a life-size chessboard with students acting as game pieces.
Despite placing fourth in last year’s homecoming float competition, the juniors return with the motivation to improve their efforts.
The 27th annual homecoming event will take place on the North Field beginning at 6:45 p.m. Food booths will be open by 6 p.m.
The varsity game will start at 7:30. A J.V. game between Coast Union and Riverdale begins at 4:30. Admission costs $6 for adults and $4 for children and senior citizens. Alumni can join the festivities for $3. Fresno Christian students with ID cards gain free admission.
The seniors will be doing Candyland, the juniors Chess, the sophomores Monopoly and the freshman Life.
