EAGLES DEFEAT BLUE RAIDERS, 3-0–Oct. 27
The Eagles played the Blue Raiders for their sixth league game of the season, Oct. 27. FC won the first set, 25-17, and for the next two games, they won convincingly, 25-11, and 25-15.

Head coach Jeff MacNeill says senior Allison Camden, who had 2 aces, 2 kills, 18 assists, and 5 digs stood out during senior night.

“Allison is one of our two seniors this year and definitely a leader on the court,” MacNeill said. “Tonight she was as instrumental as ever with such high stats.”

According to junior Alexis Ellis, she looks up to the senior players for their hard work and dedication to the sport.

“I felt good about senior night,” Ellis said. “I am so proud of Allison and Katelyn because they work so hard and are extremly amazing at volleyball. I really look up to Allison because she is my motivation to play.”

Sophomore Annaleah Madison says that she has a tremendous amount of respect towards the two seniors on the team for always pushing the team forward.

“Both Katelyn and Allison are fantastic players,” Madison said. “I have so much respect for them because they are always giving their best and even when we are losing, they keep their heads up and encourage us. I am sad that they won’t be here next year but we will always remember their work.”

Senior captain Allison Camden says that she is glad the team defeated Caruthers on senior night. She is also greateful for the successful season that the team has had so far.

“Senior night was really cool,” Camden said. “But the best part was just sweeping Caruthers in three games. I am sad that the season is almost over but I am really thankful for the season we had and for my teammates for making it awesome.”
