While the high school watches the drama department’s play, “The Gift of the Magi,” the junior high gives thanks during midday at their 3rd annual Thanksgiving meal, Nov. 18.
Junior high parents host the event and are led by Jennifer Breedlove who organizes the food and activities. However, Matt Markarian, Peoples Church junior high pastor, came to speak on the passage: Luke 17:11-19 and also gave away prizes. Daniel Aubuchon, ’16, won first place and received a Flip video camera.
This is the third year parents have made this event possible for the junior high students. For more information on how to become involved with the junior high parents, contact Jennifer Breedlove.
School will resume for both the high school and junior high on Nov. 28. The last day of the fall semester will be a half day on Dec. 16. Finals week is scheduled for the same week of December. Classes resume for the spring semester, Jan. 9, 2012.

We are doing really well and, although we have a small trailer, we have a great float!
