Storyland and Playland are places to embrace the child inside. Filled with childrens fairytales and amusing rides these two venues create a fun time for the entire family.

Travis Carpenter along with his wife brought their two kids to Storyland to create a better learning environment for their children.

“We’ve brought our kids to Storyland before but I didn’t really remember what it looked like,” Carpenter said. “Storyland creates a great learning environment for the kids and actually gets them involved in the stories. It teaches kids that reading can be fun.”

Barbara Ervin attended Playland with her grandson for some bonding time. Ervin appreciated the family friendly environment and notes the many changes made to the park since she was a kid.

“My grandson wanted to come to Playland,” Ervin said. ” I think the family environment here is good. I see a lot of parents with kids which is very promising. I attended Playland when I was a child. This park is a lot safer and cleaner which makes it a more positive place for kids to be. There are also a lot more rides that were added since I came.”

Trevor Lgal, Attraction Host at Playland encourages families to visit Playland. Lgal feels this park is a good place to have some safe fun.

“Parents and grandparents can bring their little one’s to have some fun,” Lgal said.”Playland helps the community by giving people a chance to have a different type of fun. It’s a change from just going to a regular park. Also this park offers safety because it’s all fenced in which prevents kids from running off.

Jessica Hernandez mother of a one year old little girl attended Playlandn and Storyland in the hope that her daughter would enjoy the different attractions. Hernandez feels these two parks are great places in the community that offer good clean fun.

“I love the family atmosphere,” Hernandez said. “There’s no smoking or drinking so I feel that it’s a safe place to bring my kids to have some clean fun. These two parks affect the community in a very positive way. It’s nice that we have amusement parks right here in Fresno, and families don’t have to travel somewhere to have some fun. I know I will continue to come back with my children.”
