Attracting more than 100,000 people each year, the 38th annual ClovisFest is back for friends and family to enjoy. ClovisFest will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sept. 15-16. ClovisFest is an annual event that includes a multi-cultural food fair, live entertainment, adult beverages, rides for the kids and much more.
Over 200 commercial and local vendors will attend this event sponsored by the Clovis Chamber of Commerce. ClovisFest will begin with the traditional air balloon lift off.
Both mornings will start off at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds at 6 a.m. to allow spectators to watch the balloons set up. While the balloonists prepare to lift off, a cinnamon roll booth is opened to those who want to eat something sweet to start their day off. The hot air balloons start preparing at 6:15 a.m. with a take off scheduled for 7 a.m.
After the balloons leave, viewers are encouraged to head across the street to visit over 200 vendors that cover Pollasky Ave. in Old Town Clovis between 3rd and 7th streets.
