Every day something new happens in the world of sports. A game is played, a practice is run, a transaction is completed, etc. Whether pro, college, or high school sports, there is always something going on.
Sophomore Christopher Grossman and rookie teacher Eric Witters have joined forces to bring the patrons of The Feather Online a new podcast about all things sports dubbed “Going Pro”. The duo analyzes the ongoings of things in the sports world and then regurgitates them with their own opinions in an up-beat, conversational style.
This week the two talk about the MLB Playoffs, NHL Lockout, and notable games from week 6 of the NFL.
After analyzing the certain defeat of the San Francisco Giants’ postseason run last week, the two discuss how they shockingly pulled off a comeback, winning 3 straight elimination games to remain in the hunt. Also, the Oakland A’s and Detroit Tigers are included in the banter.
The recent NHL Lockout and it’s effect on the league is their next topic of conversation as they cover the impact on fans, teams, and the league as a business.
The two end with a discussion of the last week of NFL action, including games between the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, and the Dallas Cowboys.
PODCAST: Duo analyzes NFL, MLB, and NHL events: Oct. 19 , 2012–
