Every day something new happens in the world of sports. A game is played, a practice is run, a transaction is completed, etc. Whether pro, college, or high school sports, there is always something going on.
Sophomore Christopher Grossman and rookie teacher Eric Witters have joined forces to bring the patrons of The Feather Online a new podcast about all things sports dubbed “Going Pro”. The duo analyzes the ongoings of things in the sports world and then regurgitates them with their own opinions in an up-beat, conversational style.
This week the two start off talking about recentNFL action, including the game between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. They move into the hype surrounding rookie quarterbacks such as Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, discussing Luck’s initial results and Griffin’s recent injury. They also talk about the good fortune of the undefeated Atlanta Falcons.
Next they move into the MLB and discuss some postseason action between the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. The two focus on the Giants’ poor start and the Athletics’ recent loss.
The duo closes with NCAA Football. They talk about South Carolina University’s victory over the University of Georgia. The closing subject is the new Top 5 rankings and their predictions of how the season will play out.
