Every day something new happens in the world of sports. A game is played, a practice is run, a transaction is completed, etc. Whether pro, college, or high school sports, there is always something going on.
Sophomore Christopher Grossman and rookie teacher Eric Witters have joined forces to bring the patrons of The Feather Online a new podcast about all things sports dubbed “Going Pro”. The duo analyzes the ongoings of things in the sports world and then regurgitates them with their own opinions in an up-beat, conversational style.
This week the two talk about the MLB Postseason, NFL, and NCAA football.
The two start off with the San Francisco Giants’ postseason run and how they will fare against the Detroit Tigers in the World Series, including the pitching match ups and the pros and cons of each team.
They move onto NFL action, including the upcoming game between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots, including their hatred of each other.
The two end with college football and the dominance of Alabama and the whole SEC. They discuss the monopoly the conference holds on the NCAA and few other teams can compete with them. The hometown Fresno State Bulldogs are also talked about, including their inconsistency.
PODCAST: Co-hosts examine the world of pro sports: Oct. 25 , 2012–
