Every day something new happens in the world of sports. A game is played, a practice is run, a transaction is completed, etc. Whether pro, college, or high school sports, there is always something going on.
Sophomore Christopher Grossman and rookie teacher Eric Witters have joined forces to bring the patrons of The Feather Online a new podcast about all things sports dubbed “Goin’ Pro”. The duo analyzes the ongoings of things in the sports world and then regurgitates them with their own opinions in an up-beat, conversational style.
This week’s podcast covers topics such as recent action in the NBA, NFL, and NCAA.
To start off the two talk about the Miami Heat and their recent acquisitions of Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis. They continue the NBA talk with discussion of the James Harden trade and how it effects the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets.
The duo then switches gears to talk about professional football, namely the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys, including the quarterback controversy surrounding Tony Romo and new coach possibilities. Then they move to the Green Bay Packers and their chances at a postseason run.
The two end with more football – the NCAA. They go over the Pac-12 and the recent shootout between USC and Oregon. Then they discuss the BCS system and Notre Dame’s monopoly over college football.
Finally, they finish with a predictions about who will reach the BCS National Championship Game.
