Every day something new happens in the world of sports. A game is played, a practice is run, a transaction is completed, etc. Whether pro, college, or high school sports, there is always something going on.
Sophomore Christopher Grossman and rookie teacher Eric Witters have joined forces to bring the patrons of The Feather Online a new podcast about all things sports dubbed “Going Pro”. The duo analyzes the ongoings of things in the sports world and then regurgitates them with their own opinions in an up-beat, conversational style.
This week the two talk about the end of the MLB Postseason, the beginning of the NBA season and the ongoings in the NFL
They begin with a talk about the Los Angeles Lakers and how the new acquistions can blend together as a team to work together and develop chemistry. They also discuss the drop of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s/a> postseason chances after trading James Harden to the Houston Rockets.
The two continue with the San Francisco Giants’ postseason run and their overwhelming victory against the Detroit Tigers in the World Series, despite the Tigers advantages.
The two move onto the NFL and how the New York Jets can improve their team. Grossman believes that the only chance they have is to start Tim Tebow at quarterback rather than Mark Sanchez.
