Every day something new happens in the world of sports. A game is played, a practice is run, a transaction is completed, etc. Whether pro, college, or high school sports, there is always something going on.
Sophomore Christopher Grossman and rookie teacher Eric Witters have joined forces to bring the patrons of The Feather Online a new podcast about all things sports dubbed “Goin’ Pro”. The duo analyzes the ongoings of things in the sports world and then regurgitates them with their own opinions in an up-beat, conversational style.
This week’s podcast covers topics such as recent action in the NCAA, NFL, and NHL
To open the show, Grossman and Witters discuss the losses of top ranked teams Oregon and Kansas State and how it will effect the national rankings.
They continue with the NFL, talking about the quarterback controversy on the San Francisco 49ers and the Thanksgiving week games between the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, and the New England Patriots and New York Jets.
The two continue with pro hockey, going over the NHL Lockout and how it will harm the popularity of pro hockey in the USA.
The two conclude by bringing in guest speaker Michael Altschuler to talk about the Los Angeles Lakers and how they think the postseason will shake out.
