Students anticipate Christmas vacation (PODCAST)

When we think of Christmas, what first comes to mind? Some may say presents or christmas trees, maybe even a favorite holiday movie, but students at FC are mostly excited for the extended three week break, and the opportunity to spend time with family and friends.

In order to get ready for the Christmas season, The Feather hopes to share what campus students, faculty and staff look forward to and plan on doing during their Christmas vacation.

The Feather staff encourages its readers to share their own family traditions and plans for the break.

I’m looking forward to spending time with family and friends, and to also get a few of my favorite bands? merchandise.

This Christmas I want purple Bear Paw Boots and One Direction stuff! I?m super excited to spend time with all of my family because this Christmas we?re having all of my aunts and uncle’s and cousins over to our house. I?m also going to get together with some new and old friends from different schools.

I’ll either be spending time with family or playing sports. I really want a new hockey stick because hockey season starts in January, so I need to be prepared. Most of the break I?ll either be spending time with family or playing hockey.

I”m excited for break and spending extra time with close relatives and best friends.

During the break, I?m looking forward to hanging out with friends and family. Actually, me and my best friends plan to go to the beach at some point in the week. For Christmas, I?m asking my parents to get me a purity ring because it?s a symbol that I will stay pure for the Lord and follow Him in all that I do.

I want to throw a party during the break to celebrate the new year.
A party seems like a great idea in order to celebrate the past year and all of our memories.

I?m also going to Shanghai and Beijing for Christmas; and it?s break, meaning I can sleep in. Any time I get off of school is just fantastic.

I?m really happy about the fact that I can hang out and spend time with my family. I really like eggnog, so naturally I?m going to be drinking a lot of it. For Christmas I really want an Ipad Mini, because then I can take notes at school on it.

I want new uggs, because mine have holes in the bottom, so when I walk in puddles, my socks get wet. I can not wait till I can just sleep and relax, and not worry about finals any longer. I really don?t have any plans, but my family is probably going to come over and hang out.

For Christmas, I?m asking my parents to get me an Ipod 5 because it looks really cool, and I?m in need of a new ipod. I?m going up to LA to visit family, and to just spend time with cousins.
