Every day something new happens in the world of sports. A game is played, a practice is run, a transaction is completed, etc. Whether pro, college, or high school sports, there is always something going on.
Sophomore Christopher Grossman and rookie teacher Eric Witters have joined forces to bring the patrons of The Feather Online a new podcast about all things sports dubbed “Goin Pro”. The duo analyzes the ongoings of things in the sports world and then regurgitates them with their own opinions in an up-beat, conversational style.
In their “lucky 13th” episode, Grossman and Witters discuss the recent happenings in the NBA along with their predictions for the Super Bowl.
The two start off with talk of the NBA. They discuss the woes of the Los Angeles Lakers and the roster shuffling of the recently successful Memphis Grizzlies, who sent away their leading scorer: Rudy Gay.
Next, the two move onto the biggest sporting event in the nation – the Super Bowl. Both give their predictions and agree that the Ravens will defeat the 49ers in a close, defensive contest.
Finally, as the co-hosts wrap up, journalism advisor Greg Stobbe bursts in, attempting to persuade them to talk about the NHL. Grossman and Witters agree to discuss it in the next episode and end the podcast.
