Preparing for the April 5 “INSPIRE Gala” conference with main speaker, New York Jets’ quarterback, Tim Tebow, channels KMPH FOX 26 and KFSN abc 30 will be promoting the convention by filming at Fresno’s local Break the Barriers (BTB), March 13.
The news channels will start filming at 5 a.m. and will continue throughout the morning. This is meant to promote the Tim Tebow conference, with profits benefiting both Break the Barriers and Fresno Christian.
Junior cheer captain Rayna Endicott is anticipating helping contribute to the promotion of the Tim Tebow conference. Since the team had limited amount of room to practice with, BTB allowed the team to practice in the gym.
“The cheer team was able to practice over there so we’ve spent a lot of time at BTB so we are more prepared,” Endicott said. “We are sometimes doing cheers and stunting and other times we are in the background as extras. It’s cool that we get to partner with BTB and I’m excited to promote it tomorrow.”
Tomorrow the FC cheerleading squad will be cheering for the camera as the team shows their spirit and enthusiasm. With both FC and BTB partnering together, the cheer team was chosen to help promote INSPIRE Gala.
“I’m looking forward to going to BTB tomorrow and supporting them by cheering,” Endicott said. “I think it’s a really cool opportunity that FC is partnering with BTB for Tim Tebow to raise money. I’m excited and I think it will be a lot of fun being able to promote it.”
It is optional for FC to come and support both the cheer team and the school.
