The next fundraising dinner for FC will be held at the local California Pizza Kitchen on Blackstone and Nees, Feb. 28. The fundraiser is an all-day event in order to support the school and bring is as much money as possible.
The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is hosting the event as one of their many fundraisers throughout the year. The goal is to allow parents, students and faculty the opportunity to enjoy lunch, a snack and dinner while also helping the school.
It is important that the school community who attends the event brings the given flyer, available in the campus offices, in order for FC to receive credit. For the print out flyer click here.
The reason for the event is to create an inflow towards the school and to create partnerships with local businesses. Principal Todd Bennett explains the continuous fundraisers planned throughout the school year.
“Every month the PTF gets together to plan an all-day or evening fundraiser type of event,” Bennett said. “Part of the proceeds go to the school, and this month it is CPK.”
Bennett encourages FC families to support the school by participating in the fundraiser.
“The event is all day, so families can stop by whenever convenient,” Bennett said. “The food is great and service is also really good. FCS families should support the event because it benefits them in the long run.”
CPK was chosen for the fundraiser location because of the quality experience and family-friendly environment.
“CPK is a great place to take the whole family out,” Bennett said. “The company is supporting the school, too, so why not be involved in something that will benefit you.
