This is the 35th episode of “FC Underground, 2012-13” covering the week of April 8-12, 2012. Sophomore Fries is a first year host and broadcasts the video news alone. FC Underground is a weekly segment hosted by Callista Fries, filmed and produced by senior videographer Nathan Bender and edited by senior videographer Juan Ruelas.

Brother to Brother and Sister to Sister have training this Mon. April 8, at lunch.

HS Softball has two home games this week, Mon. April 8 and Thurs. April 11 both starting at 3:30 p.m.

Any Juniors who are interested in helping out, in any way, with the Senior recognition night, after graduation, please go to room 624 and talk to Mrs. Sargent, Mon. April 8 at lunch.

There is a Spanish Club this Fri. April 12 at lunch in room 606.

Saddle Up For Sadies is this Sat. April 13 at 6-10 p.m.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Now, Fries and Ruelas have continued the segments.
