This is the 36th episode of “FC Underground, 2012-13” covering the week of April 15-19, 2012. Sophomore Fries is a first year host and broadcasts the video news alone. FC Underground is a weekly segment hosted by Callista Fries, filmed and produced by senior videographer Nathan Bender and edited by senior videographer Juan Ruelas.
This week is Anti-Texting and Driving week.
Spring Sports Pictures will be this Mon. April 15 starting at 3:30 p.m.
April 15-16 the Cheer Team will have have open gyms from 3:30-5 p.m. in the FC gym, there will be a mandatory practice Fri. April 19 and tryouts will be Sat. at 8 a.m.
HS Softball and Baseball have an away game this Tues. April 16 at Caruthers, starting at 3:30 p.m.
At Riverdale this Tues. April 16 the Tennis team will play at 3:30 p.m.
Golf has a match at Riverside on Tues. April 16.
There is a Track meet this Wed. April 17, at Riverdale.
Wed. April 17 it is a Half Day.
Powder Puff is this Fri. April 19, on the stadium feild at 6 p.m.
Math Field Day is the Sat. April 20 from 8-12 p.m.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.
“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Now, Fries and Ruelas have continued the segments.
