Each year there is one day where everyone dresses their best: picture day. This year, picture day was held during the second week of school, Aug. 20. Unlike the rest of the school who dressed their best for picture day, the senior class decided to show their spirit by dressing crazy and mix matched because they did not need to take yearbook pictures like the rest of the campus.
All students grades seven through eleven were required to take their picture for the yearbook as well as their school identification card. The students were called out of class throughout the morning to have their pictures taken by Milne Photography, while the seniors were able to enjoy their day in their goofy get ups.
The rest of the student body was inspired by the seniors to embrace their inner ugly and take funny pictures. Inspired by the popular app Snapchat, the students showed off their funniest ugly faces to the camera in honor of picture day.
The seniors inspired this dress up day and slideshow, using both texting and social media to get the word out to their peers. The Class of 2014 plans to continue with random dress up days throughout the year.
