This is the 1st episode of “FC Underground, 2013-14” covering the week of Sept. 9-13, 2013. Junior Callista Fries is a second year host and broadcasts the video news alone. FC Underground is a weekly segment hosted by Fries, filmed by Editor in Chief Tynin Fries, and produced by Senior videographer Jared Franz.

Lunch Schedule:
Monday – No lunch scheduled
Tuesday – Taco Bell
Wednesday – Farmer Boys
Thursday – No lunch scheduled
Friday – Pizza

Sister to Sister and Brother to Brother have meetings on Mon. Sept. 9 at lunch.

There is a Spanish Club meeting at lunch in room 603.

International students that would like help with English, Jason Kim will be available Thursdays during lunch in room 627.

Volleyball has a game this Thurs. Sept. 12 at home JV starts at 5 p.m. and Varsity begins at 6 p.m.

Friday Sept. 13 is Grandparents Day.

There is a home Football game this Fri. Sept. 13 starting at 7 p.m.

Sept. 20, is the annual Beach Trip to Cambria for Coast Union Football Game, tickets are $35. One rooter bus is going, first come, first serve. Sign up in the office, your name goes on the list after you have paid.

The PSAT will be offered at Fresno Christian on October 16, Juniors need to pay for the PSAT, the testing fee is $14.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring , ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Now, Fries and usually senior Jared Franz have continued the segments.
